On the Friday we all headed off to Pitigliano which is another beautiful hill top town.  We had this period photograph taken … the deal was that we all had to look serious!

After wandering around for a while we split up and Till, John and I headed of with Gert and Bea.  We went to Savona (I think that is how you spell it), which was a lovely old town as well, although not hill top.  There was a beautiful old medieval church there that we enjoyed, followed by pasta for lunch

Then on to some Etruscan ruins in the countryside.

Late that afternoon we met up with the rest of the group at Bolsena Lake where they had been swimming and relaxing.  John and Bea went in but Till and I sooked it.  We had a great fish meal and headed home.
