Boxing Day Sarah and Jack were up early and cooked a fabulous middle eastern breakfast which we all loved. Matilda, Sarah and Jack had a day at home but John, Daisy, Joe and I decided to go and have a look at the surrounding area. This time heading down to the Dordogne River.  We just drove around for a couple of hours and picked up some bread and pastries.

It was really quite  cold.

Saturday 27 we packed up and headed back to Bordeaux to catch the train up to Paris.
All in all we had a great week at Combe-Claire. We all enjoyed the beautiful house and surrounds that we all managed to run/walk around. It was very peaceful and because the house was so big we could all disappear into our separate areas for rests.
