We left Sasa’s about 10.30 am and drove across Italy. Whilst on the first highway I sorted out the back and put the lovely clean sheets on the beds that Sasa had laundered for us. Then I took over driving for a couple of hours. We were in Italy by then and I had a dream two hour run. First drive this year but easy on the highway.

John took over again and the whole drive, even though it was 9 hours was a great drive traffic wise.

We arrived at chamonix, did a quick grocery shop, cooked dinner then went for a wander around the town. It was hopping with people everywhere. Beautiful town with lovely buildings and huge flower displays everywhere.
